The service
Loonaut is free. Arne Kellmann runs it. Loonaut shows public toilets with their access rule, opening status and the date of the last confirmation.
Businesses can buy a Verified Partner listing. The partner terms apply to that purchase.
Data may be wrong
Toilet data comes from volunteers and open sources. A toilet can be closed, moved or gone. Hours often are not known. Do not rely on Loonaut in an emergency. Call the emergency number.
Use of the website and the API
- Use Loonaut for lawful purposes only.
- Do not overload the service. Do not try to get around a rate limit.
- Show the credit © OpenStreetMap contributors with the results. The data is under the ODbL licence: https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright
Your contributions
When you send a confirmation, a rating, a report or a correction, you give us the facts in it. We may use them in the Loonaut data, publish them under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) and pass them to OpenStreetMap as a note.
Send only what is true. We may reject or delete a contribution.
Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and harm to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only when we break a duty that is essential to the contract, and only for the harm that we could foresee. The Product Liability Act stays in force.
Changes and law
We may change these terms and the service. The date at the top shows the last change. German law applies. Mandatory consumer law of your country stays in force.
